Lorie James is one of the “pioneers” the group of sojourners who traveled to Ghana in 2016 with Dominique. Following that life-changing journey, she decided to have her DNA tested by African Ancestry (www.africanancestry.com) Much to her surprise, she discovered her roots lay in the African nations of Cameroon and Nigeria. She will travel to African for a second time this year for Dominique’s second return home to the Motherland – this time to Senegal, Ethiopia and The Gambia. Lorie is a Mom and a life-long community activist.
