Ernie De Silva
A native of the Bushwick projects of Brooklyn New York, early on it became obvious that Ernie De Silva’s innate abilities for dramatic acting, guitar playing, and stand-up comedy would find eventually find a forum to coexist in perfect union and ultimately form magical creations. Smoke is a perfect reflection of that on full display.

Ernie’s Academic life has also been a range of successes. Primero, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Acting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. To build even further, he later added on a Master’s Degree in Acting from the University of Southern California’s Graduate Acting program in 2009. It was during his time at USC that Ernie began to write his first solo show “Heavy Like the Weight of a Flame” and began to make his mark on the world of one man shows.
