Fans: Slain South L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle was known for helping to empower the black community

Scores of Nipsey Hussle fans gathered Sunday evening for an impromptu memorial at his Marathon Clothing business in South Los Angeles, where the rapper was gunned down just hours earlier. Almeno 100 people crowded the sidewalk adjacent to the clothing company and retail lot owned by Hussle, where he was fatally shot and where two others were wounded at about 3:20 pm.
