先生. Silver was a guest on the legendary musician, Johnny Otis Radio Show, on KPPC, 在 1976.
I called in on the program, and won an album by Mr. Otis, and conversed with Mr. Silver, 以及. I told Mr. Silver that he should sue Steely Dan for ripping off the bass line from “Song for My Father” for their song, “Rikki Don’t lose that Number”.
先生. Silver laughed, 和先生. Otis said, “His lawyer’s looking into that”, and i laughed, 太. I still have Johnny Otis’ album to this day. I wish more people would be aware, especially Black people, of the great music that is around us.
