Jimmy Jean-Louis is a Haitian-French actor and model best known for his role as “the Haitian” on the NBC television series Heroes. Born in Pétion-Ville, he moved to Paris at a young age to pursue a modeling career. His early roles were in French television commercials and Spanish musical theatre.
His most important role to date is playing the title character in “TOUSSAINT LOUVERTURE” which won BEST ACTOR at the Pan African Film Festival and a nomination for BEST ACTOR at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2012. Fluent in English, Français, Espagnol, Italian and Creole, Jimmy has worked in many parts of the world including France, Angleterre, Indonésie, Cuba, Nigeria, Brasil, and Mexico. He’s currently a regular on the number drama of the summer “Claws” TNT, 2018.
