Jeremiah Gordon (droit) began his organizing journey as a student leader at the University of California, Bord de l'eau. Jeremiah saw a need for greater enrollment of Black students. Jeremiah helped advocate and demonstrate against the university’s admission policies. He alongside other Black community members demanded that the university foster more outreach and campus support for Black students. This resulted in UC Riverside creating an outreach program for Black community college and high school students. Jeremiah now works as the new community organizer with the Los Angeles Black Worker Center.
