The book “Al igual que Compton”, is seriously one of the best books I ever read. It just have you into the book, to the point you dont wanna stop reading.
I give the book 2 pulgares para arriba… If anybody is asking themselves what book to read, I recomend to read “Al igual que Compton

Read “Al igual que Compton” in one day. Hard to believe that these kinds of lives go on around me, cross my paths, then pass me by. Me encantó la conexión familia, la cultura criolla en suelo americano; odiado, pero fue seducido por la pura arrogancia del personaje principal; Me preocupa más ahora, sobre el corazón y la moral de las mujeres jóvenes espalda, y el futuro de nuestros hijos. Estoy convencido ahora, más que nunca, que los hombres negros son los seres más intellegent y creativas, pero el Señor les conceda el enfoque! Una de las mejores novelas urbanas que he leído en los últimos cinco años (y he leído mucho!)

I was in a long line to purchase this book yesterday. Once I got in the store I picked up the book still in line and began reading….I finished the book this morning. It was intriguing, captivating and honest. You did an awesome job conveying your thoughts on paper. You went through alot of turmoil…..the best part is your TRANSITION….May GOD richly bless you in all your future endeavors….PS never stop telling your story, it will help save someone’s life…sista love to you

It took me two days to finish this book and yes it was Great I was reading another book at the time which I have put down from chapter 1-24 are excellent Good job Kevon cant wait til part two Remeber dont let nobody read ur book make them buy their own LOL

Como PhD Francés. candidato de trabajo sobre pandillas en Compton, No tenía más remedio que leer este libro. Aunque es una novela y algunas escenas eran de ficción (sobre todo las escenas de sexo porque las mujeres no encuentran tan atractivo Kevon lol), “Al igual Compton” es un libro muy realista que tiene que leer si quieres saber más acerca de la “la vida loca” que algunos jóvenes del centro de la ciudad viven. Un gran libro, lejos de los clichés sobre las pandillas que oímos con demasiada frecuencia

”Al igual que Compton” was a very interesting and action packed novel. I will be completely honest when i say I am not a reader, but this book gave me no choice to stay tuned and focused in which I was eager to know what was coming next. Kevon did a great job! Congratulations on your achievements and now i can’t wait for another book and/or a movie

Just like Compton is the best book I’ve ever read hands down. Had me on the edge of my seat. Action packed. Every page had me thirsting for the next. The book keeps you guessing and not predictable at all. I could see what I read right on front of me like I was watching a movie. Even if you are not a reader you will become one once you open the first page of the book. RUN and go get JUST LIKE COMPTON people. You won’t regret it!!!

I think just like compton is a movie! its more than a book of words! the reason I say this is because I pictured every event, all the characters, I was there when I read the book. I’m not much of a book reader unless its instructions on how to do something. this book took me on a journey of emotions! thanks kevon keep them coming!

Reading “Al igual que Compton” (at the risk of sounding corny) was captivating. It held my attention and the Author had written it in such a way where I was actually able to see it in my head. Made me feel as if I had just finished watching a movie.
It also showed different sides to a person that most people who dont understand street life, would otherwise fear. Emotions that humanized his character. I loved it.

The book had a hello..lol no but the book was amazing and believable most authors who try to make a urban book sounds unrealalistic. i was intrigited on how i never wanted to put the book down i read it everywhere i went and everybody ask me was it good and i said a must get book in every hood household

I can honestly say that the book is good. Real life hood drama, and not the stuff that’s made up by people who were raised in the “glass house.” Una casa de cristal es una persona de clase media, que trata de encajar con los que nacieron y fueron criados en las calles. Gente de la casa de cristal no saben nada acerca de las drogas que guardan la comida en la mesa. Los habitantes de la casa de vidrio componen la materia! Ha! Al igual que Compton? Tenías que haber vivido esa vida que saber sobre él!
