Neferteri Shepherd is the founder of Single Mom Planet. She made her mark in the world of hosting television for UPN 20’s hit music entertainment show “Big City.” She was also the host of “Music Mogul” the online brain child of Grammy Award winning producer Rodney Jerkins who created the 3D Music World for aspiring artists and fans. For two seasons Neferteri was the host of Starz’s Network show “The B Side,” on “The B Side” she tapped into the edgy side of her numerous celebrity guests. Neferteri has also been featured as a design assistant / co-host on HGTV’s “Design In A Day.”

Sing Mom Planet balances the lives of single moms and their families by empowering them in their Single Mom’s Life Class program which covers Financial Literacy, Salute & Wellness, Relationships, Self-Image, Spirituality and Service. They also offer their members affordable child care referrals, transportation assistance, resume’ building, job interview workshops, salute & nutrition seminars, child support clinics, emergency information in case of loss of job or home, job training and affordable health care options.

Their goal is to create an environment for Single Moms to share their ups and downs, to be empowered, become stronger, more resilient and persevere.
