Omar Bradley, was born and raised in Compton. He attended all Compton Schools and later went on to earn two Bachelor of Arts Degrees: the first in Communications and the second in Literature. Continuing his education Omar Bradley went on to earn a Master’s of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and holds an Honorary PhD. in Philosophy.
Omar Bradley is a life-long educator who began his professional career as an educator at the age of twenty-two. He holds credentials in both English and Mathematics and has served as a teacher in both subjects for over twenty-four years. Omar Bradley also holds a California State Administrative Credential and is the former Assistant Superintendent of Schools in the Lynwood Unified School District.
Omar Bradley is the former Councilman of the First District of the City of Compton, and served two successful terms as the City of Compton’s Mayor. He was the National Delegate for the National Education Association, au cours de l' 2000 Democratic Convention and the Key Note Speaker for the National Convention of The National Association of Black School Educators. Omar Bradley is a published author and a nationally sought after public speaker.
