PRESIDENT OBAMA TO VISIT NEWARK MONDAY AS PART OF PUSH FOR CRIMNAL JUSTICE REFORM

NEWARK (WABC) –President Obama heads to the Tri-State area Monday afternoon as part of his efforts to reform the criminal justice system.

The president will join New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka to visit the Integrity House drug treatment facility for former prisoners.

The president is calling for breaking the “cycle of incarceration” by making it easier for former inmates to successfully re-enter society.
