It is important to maintain a healthy level of minerals and vitamins so we do
not absorb radioactive elements that mimic natural minerals. The oceans have vital
nutrients our bodies need to function, so lets preserve our oceans and move toward
natural energy sources. Lets move towards preparedness, not hysteria.
Radioactive elements are structurally similar to non-radioactive elements.
If our bodies are lacking the appropriate amount of nutrients i.e. calcium, magnesium,
potassium etc., our body may absorb radioactive elements that are similar in
structure to those minerals you are lacking. Example, Strontium 90 (SR-90) (result of
nuclear testing) mimics calcium and cesium 137 (result of nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons)mimics
potassium.
This also applies if we have a radiation exposure or fallout. We need an appropriate
amount of natural iodine so our thyroid doesn’t absorb radioactive iodine,
although we also need other minerals and nutrients that may be mimicked as well.
Many people are calling health food stores all around the nation looking for
(KI) Potassium Iodide not knowing that it is naturally prevalent in kelp, sea (Irish)
moss and many sea vegetables. In 1985, 37,000 tons of potassium iodide was
commercially processed using some of the natural sources mentioned earlier.
Natural iodine found in kelp and sea vegetables can fill up the thyroid preventing
it from absorbing radioactive iodine. Radioactive iodine can cause tumors and
cancer of the thyroid. How much iodine a person should take depends on how
much each individual is lacking.
