Rev. William D. Inteligente Jr.

Rev. William D. Smart is the New President and CEO of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) of Southern California. He is also Co-Pastor of the Christ Liberation Ministries in Los Angeles, where he serves with his wife. He recently served as Director of External Training and Outreach at the Los Angeles Alliance for A New Economy a nationally recognized nonprofit organization, where he served for 9 plus years.

Rev. Smart worked as an adjunct professor of world religion and biblical studies at Lane College in Jackson, TN where he also served as interim Vice President. Fue Presidente de la NAACP en Jackson, TN, a board member of the SCLC in Birmingham, AL President of the Forest City Ministerial Alliance and State Director of Economic Development for the NAACP in Tennessee.
