Selina Thomas – Santa Clarita City Council

Selina has been a proud resident of Santa Clarita for 10 years. Ms. Thomas is a Nationally Certified Human Resource professional and the Founder/CEO of 6 Degrees HR Consulting (www.6degreeshrconsulting.com), an outsourced HR Consulting firm. As a registered Independent Selina approaches all issues in a pragmatic solution-oriented manner which allows her to see issues from both sides. In her career, she has often been the voice of reason which leads to great results. She has been a strong advocate for many businesses and their employees volunteering her service and expertise to many during the Covid-19 crisis. Selina is dedicated to serving the entire community in its recovery from the many difficult issues of 2020. Ms. Thomas considers her three daughters her biggest accomplishment. She can often be seen supporting them throughout the community while they participate in organized sports and activities. Selina loves animals and was an avid equestrian having previously competed in the Bill Pickett Rodeo in the barrel racing event. In her spare time, she enjoys attending concerts and travel. The economic and social issues Santa Clarita faces along with the inequality of that being represented at the city government level is the reason she stepped forward to serve. As a proud bi-racial woman she is keenly aware of the visibility and responsibility of this undertaking.
