雪莉格雷夫斯·史密斯

雪莉格雷夫斯·史密斯 is the award-winning author of three children’s books series. Her newest is the “Lil’ Sherri” series featuring gentle life lessons for ages 4-8. Is My Cup Empty? is the first title in this series and it focuses on optimism. Smith’s first series, “Game Day Rules,” includes more than 40 titles about sportsmanship and is still growing; each title presents the official mascot of a college or professional sports team. Her third series is a line of alphabet and counting books with team mascots.

Prior to becoming an author, Sherri was an attorney in The Coca-Cola Company’s Legal Division. Her legal career came to an abrupt halt at the age of 36 when she was diagnosed with cancer, which was labeled chronic in 2010 resulting in chemotherapy five days a week. Forced to give up tutoring to inner-city children in reading and law, Sherri began writing children’s books. She has also been honored for philanthropy in the cancer community.
